My subscription changed alone to individual and now I can't change it back to Duo

Hello!

I had Spotify Duo for few years already. One month ago I lost my debit card and I cancel it, and the subscription got paused because I was not able of paying inmediatly. When I added the new card the plan got activated again and I'm not sure why it got activated as Individual and not Duo. Now I tried to change it and it says I'm not elegible for Duo.

"Unable to change plans. This could be because you're not eligible for this plan, you're already on it, or you don't have a stored payment method."

Can you try changing your subscription plan through your account page here? If that doesn’t work, then I’d recommend canceling your subscription, waiting for it to revert to Free, and then resubscribe to Duo through your account page.

Thanks for reaching out.

If your current plan is through a partner (e.g. mobile carrier), you need to cancel that subscription first. You can find instructions for that here.

Then, once your account has reverted to the Free service, you’ll be able to sign up for Premium Duo.
