Not possible to switch to basic

I'm wondering why I don't have the option to switch to a basic plan.. We have now a Duo Premium as from Jul 2025

Hey @DrawW, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

You can check to see if you’re eligible for the Basic Duo plan by:

1. Log into spotify.com/account.
2. Under Manage your plan, click Change plan.
3. Choose the Basic plan.

If you don’t see Basic as an available plan in your account, you’re currently not eligible. I don’t have any further information on criteria available to be eligible for this plan. Also, keep in mind that Basic plans aren’t available for Premium Student and Duo/Family plan members. There’s more info on how Basic plans work and what’s included here.
