Payment was deducted from my account but it is showing as failed payment

Payment was deducted from my account but it is showing as failed payment

Payment has been deducted from my account on 9th may and it is showing aa failed payment on the app. I changed my payment details as my debit card had expired but it is askint me to pay again and I haven't got that money back.

Hey @Simar3, and welcome to the Community.

 

When you check your Spotify account status, does your plan show as active or has it been downgraded to Free?

 

Please make sure the payment was actually completed and not just authorized (sometimes banks show pending charges that don’t go through).

 

Also, you can check your email account to see if you find any Spotify emails regarding failed payments, plan cancellations and confirmations/successful payments. Search for emails from Spotify dated around May 9.
