My Question or Issue

Hello

When I created my account for my family, I chose Paypal to payment method. I didn't know when my country is set in Monaco even though I'm in France.

To solve my problem, I set Credit card as new payment method but my children must to wait one month to have music... It’s not normal that it happened like that.

How can I make sure my children don't wait a month to get music?

Hey,
Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us here!
From what I understand of your description, it seems the main issue is related to the country registered on your account. If you used a PayPal account from Monaco to subscribe to Premium Family, your Spotify account was automatically associated with Monaco.

You did the right thing by updating your payment method to a credit card issued in France. On your next billing date, your account's country should update to France, matching your current location. This likely explains the "one-month" wait you mentioned, as all members of a Family plan need to be in the same country.

To help you more accurately, could you please provide a few more details about the issue your children are facing?

  1. What is the exact error message they receive when they try to accept the invitation?
  2. Are the accounts they are using regular Spotify accounts or Spotify Kids accounts?

With this information, it will be easier to understand what's happening and find the best solution. We look forward to your reply!

Stay awesome! 🎶
