Playlist cover

I really want my playlists to look fancy and have a nice aesthetic. Whenever i go to change the cover of my playlists i always get the same thing. 'That image is too small, it must be at leaset 300 x 300.' This message comes up NO MATTER WHAT, whether the image is bigger than 300 x 300, smaller or even the exact size. I have no clue what to do and i really want to change my cover.

Could you perform clean reinstall of your Spotify app on desktop? It's different than regular reinstallation. Just follow the steps provided in this article.
