Playlist functionality

I am new to Spotify and I am used to Pandora functionality. I have created a playlist in my Spotify Premium account and have added music to it, but it seems limited to only the exact songs I've added to the playlist/ How do I get Spotify to automatically add other songs from the artists I've already added as well as similar artists/songs? I have no interest in listening to a bunch of playlists that I didn't create nor do I have any interest in the social aspect of Spotify ( I have turned on  private Session) I turned on Auto play thinking the music would just keep going, but it doesnt. Any suggestions would be great

Hi @6mz83lm4wv3nzfm, and welcome to the community!

When we create a playlist, Spotify automatically shows us some recommended songs based on the ones you've added. You'll see them just bellow the last song. 

You can also click on refresh to get new songs. 

This feature is available both on mobile and desktop app.

You have to click on ADD on each track. This way it gets shaped according to your taste.
