Please reverse my subscription - it has been suddenly set to Free

I have had a EU 4,99 subscription for years.

I am logging in via Facebook.

I am paying via PayPal.

I am content and don't wan't to change anything.

Suddenly my account is set to Free.

Please reverse to how it was.

We’re always testing out features to give our users the best listening experience. This means adding new features, and sometimes, removing old ones. We can confirm we’re closing Spotify Unlimited, and all accounts under it will change to our free, ad-supported service. You can also subscribe to a Premium plan here. As always, we really appreciate your feedback as we work on new ways to make Spotify better.

Did I miss that Spotify Unlimited will be canceled?
Has it been communicated?
My monthly costs will DOUBLE if I have to go for a Premium account.

I have done research now and I see that Spotify decided to stop it and that I as a consumer can't do anything about it because you have put the right to quit and abandon in your licence. Sooo, what I want to do: I want Premium but I no longer want to log in through Facebook. How can I do that without losing my playlists? I have been building those digital shelves for years.

You can log into your account page and add your email address to it.

If you're not possible to add your email to your account, we suggest that you contact our customer support so that they can help you add it directly from their end.

Simply a lousy move by Spotify. Thinking of leaving all together. How come there has been no warning that this was happening?
