Premium Individual to Basic Family

How do I switch my subsciption from Premium Individual to Basic Family?
Do I have to be subscribed to Premium Family first?

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

Unfortunately, you can only switch to a Basic plan of the same type that you’re currently subscribed to. In other words, if you're subscribed to Premium Individual, you can only switch to Basic Individual; if you're subscribed to Premium Duo, you can only switch to Basic Duo; and if you're subscribed to Premium Family, you can only switch to Basic Family.

Because of this limitation, it's expected that you're not eligible to switch your plan to Basic Family at this time; you’d need to be currently subscribed to Premium Family as the plan manager for this subscription option to be available.
