I wonder if me and my friend have separate accounts already and i wanted to have both accounts to change to duo is that possible?

Yes, you're both able to upgrade to Premium Duo (as long as you both reside at the same physical address).

You, or your friend that upgrades to the plan will be the plan manager, and they can invite or remove members following the steps here > Invite or remove members section. On that page, you can find more information on how the plan works and frequently asked questions.
