Premium not working in app but works on computer

Hi!

 

I have used premium for years, but suddenly it has stopped working when I use the app om my cellphone. There it says my account is "free" but when I log in to Spotify through my computer, it says premium. Why does it not work on my phone? I have checked with my phone company (I pay through them) and they also confirm I have a premium account. I have also removed and reinstalled the app, and logged off and on again, it still says free. How do I get it to work on my phone? I only listen through my phone so it's useless to pay if I can't access the premium features.

Hey @Emelia_,

 

It sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails -- that will mean your extra account is registered with that email.

 

  • If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually.
  • If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
  • If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address.

From what I can see, I have only used one e-mailadress but somehow have two different accounts anyway. It works now that I used my username instead of my e-mail when logging in! 🙂
