Problems with student discount

I recieved an email thad said that my request for the studend discount was approved and also a bank charge was made. But when I try to activate Spotify Premium by clicking the link on my email it says that the information I have given is already linked to another account. This can´t be because I haven´t tried Spotify for students ever.

I still want to keep my suscription, but I don´t want to be charged if I´m not enjoying Spotify Premium.

I believe that the problem may be that I used my spotify account that is linked with my facebook for this request but instead of giving my facebook email I gave my pesonal gmail email.

What can I do?

This could be happening if you have multiple Spotify accounts, and you set up the discount with the wrong one. Try following these steps to see if you can find the account with your student details.

In case you've set up the student discount with a Free account, you could cancel the Premium one and continue using the account with the discount.
