Quick update for your family subscription - not the same address??

Hi. I have a family premium account. I sent 4 invitartions to 4 members of my family: my wife and 3 kids, all of them under the same roof. Two of my kids doon't have any problem using premium, BUT my wife and one of my kids received an email prompting them to verify their address. They ignored the email and in 7 days their premium status was revoked and they were returned to FREE. When they realized this they asked me to invite them again and when they fill in the address blanks, it DOES NOT WORK. What is going on?

Hey @pattroni,

One of the requirements to join a Spotify Premium for Family account is that you all reside at the same address. Spotify automatically sent out that email to verify the address of your wife and kid. After a week, because they've failed to verify their address, Spotify disables their Spotify Premium for Family status.

When you go to your Spotify Premium for Family page under your account settings, does it show them as part of your Family?

Just a little update! I was just reading though this article, and it seems as though if you don't respond/validate your address within that one week timeframe, you aren't able to join that family plan at all.

So, they failed to verify the address (which is simply a mail reply) and then they can no longer be part of my family plan at all? even when we all live under the same roof? This is nuts. can I talk to somebody? can I call somewhere?

As far as I know, that's the current situation. You can reach out to Spotify's Support Team over Twitter, Facebook or email, but not by phone.
