My Question or Issue

I have resolved the issue through customer support, but had a question I can't find the answer to.
If I remove all payment methods on an active spotify premium subscription, when it comes time for the charge, would not having any active payment methods cause it to fail payment and revert to free or can spotify use payment methods that have been removed from the account if there's no replacement listed?

Hey @NStack,

Thanks for reaching out.

It's possible that you were looking at the Saved payment cards page, which has nothing to do with the payment method used for paying the subscription 🙂 So yeah, it's not possible to remove the payment method on a subscription - you can only chancel the subscription which will remove the payment method when the subscription ends.

I hope this clears things up!
