Revert change from basic to premium not allowed

My Question or Issue

I changed to the premium individual plan from the basic plan through the spotify mobile app which didn't warn me that once I switch I cannot revert back to the basic. It appears to only mention this on the website despite letting you switch through the mobile app. I now cannot revert back to the basic plan, I've spoken to customer service but they were no help at all. Any suggestions?

As mentioned on this page, once you cancel your Basic plan, it’s not possible to resubscribe to it. I thank you for your feedback regarding the notice that should have been provided more prominently when you switched to Basic and will pass that on to the right folks.
