Unable to switch to Basic Individual plan

My Question or Issue

Been subscribing to Spotify Premium for years, and seeing as I do not listen to audiobooks I'd like to switch to Basic but it seems that that option is not available to me. 

At what point will that option appear for me? How does an account "qualify" for it?

The Basic plan is only available to existing Premium subscribers who subscribed before a specific cutoff date. That cutoff date varies between markets and I don't have any further information about specific dates. If you’re eligible, you’ll see Basic as an option on your account page. 

If you don't see the option to switch to a Basic plan on your account page, then you aren't eligible I'm afraid.
