My Question or Issue

Spotify charged me double last month, and I would like my money back. This is my only account on a student prime membership, and there should be no reason why it was charged double.

Hey @ChocoDrop21, welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

Was the extra charge in the same invoice as your normal charge (i.e. was it a single $10 charge instead of two separate $5 charges)? If that's the case, there's a chance your student status needs to be renewed. It must be renewed every 12 months, as you can see on this support article.

 

Let me know if this is the case! If you need help renewing your student status and getting the student discount again, let me know.

It is a whole payment of 10.77 I believe and I have already renewed my student account.

If you believe you're eligible for a refund, all you need to do is get in contact with Spotify support and their Accounts team can take a look backstage. The easiest way to contact them is by messaging SpotifyCares on Facebook or Twitter. They usually respond within 48 hours!
