Spotify Premium Annual Discount and Family

Hi, last month I recently took advantage of the offer to pay for my premium subscription upfront for one year - getting it at the discounted price of 99 GBP. Now that my profile says I won't be charged my on-going monthly subscription until January 2019, I wanted to find out what would happen if I wanted to upgrade my Premium to a Family account.

Not sure if it would calculate that the 99 GBP I paid covers 6 (and a bit) months of Family subscription and start charging me the monthly family rate at a pro-rated amount from month 7.

When you upgrade your subscription from regular Premium to Premium for Family, any remaining time that you've already paid for will be converted into a Premium for Family subscription, so this can bring your next payment date forward. You can review your renewal date on the subscription page.
