Spotify Premium Gift Certificate

Good morning,

I'm trying to give Spotify Premium as a gift for my sister (1-month subscription).

I'm writing all the information needed correctly (card number, my sister e-mail, etc) but the payment is not working.

I am receiving this error:

"Pagamento non riuscito. Riprova o utilizza un metodo di pagamento diverso. Richiedi assistenza"

My bank confirmed to me that my card does not have any problems. 

I'm currently in Austria, but in my account, the country is "Italy". Maybe this cause any troubles?

Hey @Gabriel_71, welcome to the community!

Right now, the payment details you're using must match the country on the Spotify account, so this could be the reason why the payment isn't going through.

Another thing to notice is that gift cards purchased from Spotify can only be used in the country they're issued from, so if you buy a card from Austria, your sister's Spotify account country would have to be set to Austria to redeem it.

As an alternate option, you could send the money to your sister so she can purchase the subscription, or have someone else purchase the card and transfer the money over.
