Spotify Premium Gone

Hi, I need help regarding my subscription. I was on the ₹139 Individual Premium (legacy plan). During renewal, the payment failed due to a “receiver bank declined” error on the UPI mandate, even though I had sufficient balance. I understand this was a bank/mandate issue and not an intentional cancellation. I was under the impression that the system would retry during the grace period, but my plan was removed before I could successfully complete the payment. I also attempted to pay manually, but the mandate request prevented it.

Since this was not a voluntary cancellation and was caused by a payment failure outside my control, I would really appreciate it if anyone from Spotify could help out or anyone else who had this happen to them let me know what to do. I'm just a broke highschool student who someone how lucky with the chance of being able to have the legacy plan.

Hey @jloveslino, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Typically, if a monthly payment fails, you won't immediately lose your Premium. Spotify will try to take the payment again over the next few days. There's more information about failed payments here. In your case, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support. They'll take a look and do their best to help.
