Spotify Premium through Vodafone UK

Spotify Premium through Vodafone UK

Hi,

I had a Spotify Premium account through Vodafone UK but since moving countries (and cancelling my mobile phone contract) by Spotify subscription has of course stopped and all of my downloaded songs have been deleted from my mobile device.

 

However, I have now started the free 7 day premium trial and intend to subscribe directly, however can someone confirm if I will have to follow all of my artists again, create my own playlists again and follow friends again all from scratch?

No, you don't lose any of your stuff when there are changes to your account's plan.

Hi Maxim,

That's what I thought but everything has disappeared - it's as if I am a
brand new user even though I am using the same log in details from before.

Any idea how I can transfer all of my followed
artists/playlists/preferences from before?

It sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails -- that will mean your extra account is registered with that email.

 

  • If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually.
  • If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
  • If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address.
