My Question or Issue

My premium plan needs renewing, but Spotify isn't allowing me to renew on my individual subscription - it says my account isn't eligible and is trying to force me to pay for Duo. I live alone and am the only person who uses - or has ever used - this account, I'm not paying for a second user.

Why is it not allowing me my normal subscription and how can I sort it out? I've received no emails or messages about it either that might explain it, which is just such poor communication/service.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

 

This is most probably related to the exact way you're going through on the web site in order to renew the payment details. If you go through the page, that lists all the available plans, but doesn't let you select Premium individual, it means you're on the wrong page. You'll have to go through the account page as described here.

 

You can also post screenshots so we can navigate you better through the process.
