My Question or Issue

Hi
My credit card payment seems to not process. I'm having this issue since 31st December. Uptil then Spotify was able to charge me monthly automatically.

Nothing has changed from my end. I've had no problem using this credit card before and after and it still works just fine. I've tried updating it (even though nothing has changed with the card) and it still fails. Spotify seems to be the only service having trouble processing payments.

 

The card is from one of the major banks in India (HDFC bank). So I don't see why Spotify should be having issues. I've talked to the bank too and they see no reason why Spotify alone is having issues.

 

Could you look into this please? I'm unable to pay for my subscription at the moment and it seems to be a Spotify specific issue.

Hey  @BezG!

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. Can you try to purchase Premium using another browser or Incognito Mode? It might also be worth trying another device or a different internet connection.

Thank you Jose. Incognito mode seemed to work.

Sadly it's now forgotten all the family members I added so I have to go through the process of adding them again.
I have no idea why this is the case and something Spotify should really fix or suggest using Incognito mode themselves during the payment process.

Thanks for your reply. This issue could have been caused by some info stored in browser cookies, this is may be why  Incognito Mode has done the trick. In order to add your family members back to your plan, I'd recommend following the steps provided in this Support article.

My spotify payment has been rejected and I have tried 3 credit card to pay my monthly payment. My original card you have was compromised so I have tried many many frustrating times to add a new card and it never accepts
