Spotify website shows premium but app shows free

My Question or Issue

Hi, I just signed up for premium for students, logging into the website shows my premium account but logging in with the same login info in the app shows the subscription as free.

Hope you’re doing great!

Could you try logging out/in of your Spotify account. If that doesn’t help, can you let me know if you received a email confirming your Premium for Students subscription?

I’m having the same problem. I have checked my email and did get a verify but it still says my account is free.

Yes I have logged in and out. Reinstalled the app but still showing as free under subscription in the app but online shows premium.
