My Question or Issue
So, i installed spotify on windows 10 and it dsn't open! no task what so ever.
Something to do with hosts (using spybot hosts) or DNS (1.1.1.1)?
Hey, @chico1921
Welcome to Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out here!
Firstly, could you try a clean reinstallation of the app on your device, please? Just check out this article to get information about how to proceed with it.
If you have any other further questions or need more help, let me know! I'd love to help!
Best Regards,

Also tried:
Removing folders from %appdata% and offline install.
Web spotify works fine btw, so, it's not a hosts problem i guess
Could you tell me what is the message that appears when you try to uninstall the app? And where did you get this app? From the Windows Store or Spotify download page?
i don't get any error, simply nothing appears, just like when i try to open spotify.
I got from regular link, then tried offline instalation
Hey again, @chico1921
Sorry for the delay...
Just ein case, are you trying to open Spotify on a school/work computer? I'm asking it because, it seems that you have some restrictions set on the machine.
If you are trying to use Spotify on those devices, you need to ask permission for the system admin...
Or even if you using a personal computer or personal network at home, do you have admin privileges?
Keep me posted!
Best Regards,
hezorg
