Student Discount Entered Wrong email address When signing up. Already Charged.

I signed up for the student discount, and while signing up I thought when it asked for my email I thought it wanted my school assigned email (As most student discounts do).

 

So I filled out my application and attached my invoice and proof of enrollment. I now realize that my spotify account is linked to a different email.

 

I have already been charged this months fee; however, my account is not yet premium.

 

I'm worried that I have paid to get my student email verified (which doesnt have a spotify account on it) and I have used up my university credentials so I cannot link my actual spotify account. 

 

How should I move forward to get the student discount for my spotify accounts email, and not to end up paying for 2 spotify accounts. The application is already sent (and Ive been charged) for my spotifyless student email, but I havent done anything else yet.

 

Any help or info is appreciated.

Hey @jdudal! Help's arrived! 

 

SheerID, Spotify's verification partner, doesn't have access to the billing side of the Spotify Premium for Students deal. They just verify the student status for the respective markets. 

 

You shouldn't be billed for two accounts 🙂 You should be able to re-verify yourself with the correct email at https://spotify.sheerid.com! Let me know if you're having troubles.

 

With regards to the payment, does going to https://spotify.com/accounts/subscription/ in an incognito window show that you're Premium?
