Student Premium

I will be mostly using spotify on my Iphone 6s. 

I’m not 18 yet but I’m heading to college in the fall. Since I’m not 18 it says I can’t sign up for student premium. Can I switch to the student plan once I turn 18 and start a regular premium now or will it not let me switch plans?

I don't believe there is an age requirement for the Student discount. However, you do need to be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university before you can apply for the discount.

You can sign up for Premium now, and then once you're enrolled at an accredited college or university, you can apply for the Student discount. If you're eligible, the discounted rate will automatically begin on your next billing date. You can check the status of your subscription at any time.

Note: If you subscribe through any other company than Spotify (e.g. with your internet/mobile provider or iTunes), you will need to cancel your existing subscription with them before signing up for the Student discount.
