Subscription Not Working After Trouble Shooting.

Subscription Not Working After Trouble Shooting.

The day before my premium payment went through I had to cancel my debt card due to fraudulent charges and I got a new one. Then I was alerted that my payment for Spotify didnt go through via iTunes. I promptly changed my payment info and it went through my acct on 9/5. I have tried all the suggestions to "reset" my acct and it is still not working. I have logged off and logged back on. I have erased the app from my phone completely and re-downloaded. Nothing has worked. I just shazamed a song though and was able to add it to my playlist???!! What gives?! Please help me fix this! I use this daily to work out and I hate using Pandora.

Hey @Smashes81,

Up until recently, it was possible to subscribe to Premium via iTunes. But doing so required an additional charge on top of the standard rate. So, Spotify decided to cut out the middleman by discontinuing iTunes subscriptions.

The good news is you can enjoy Premium for less, and it’s super easy! Just head to http://spoti.fi/2dXPfzf and upgrade to Premium. 🙂

Ok, but I have already been charged by iTunes 12.99 on Sept 3 and it says it will renew Oct 3. I will cancel my subscription through iTunes, but I've paid for this month and I'm still not getting service. What can you do about that? I don't want to pay again.

Not much I can do about that because that transaction was done in the App Store, not on Spotify's website.

I'd recommend taking a look at the In-App-Purchase Refund Policy: http://apple.co/2lcIxXJ

Hey @ekimreis,

Please reach out to Fido about this, as they're the one's managing your subscription 🙂
