My Question or Issue

My payment failed for some reason and my subscription was downgraded. When I try to get the student premium again it says my payment methods aren’t working. I have tried to both add a debit card and add a paypal and neither work. I have tried using different cards, incognito mode, waiting periods of time before trying again. Nothing works.

We'd first recommend making sure that your card meets the requirements listed here, and for PayPal, making sure that the country registered on your PayPal account matches the country set in your Spotify account.

 

You can also give it a try using a different device to see if that makes any difference. 

 

If that doesn't do the trick, you could reach out to us privately via the channels here so our teams will be able to check your account and provide further help if possible.
