Subscription renewal after a long time

Subscription renewal after a long time

Hello there fellow Spotify users!

I've been using my account for about two years now and  recently I lost the ability to pay for subscription (credit card issues), so i had to go to another streaming service where i got a nice offer to use it for 1 whole year. Nevertheless this new streaming service is not as good as Spotify, so after one year I'm planning to return, and my question is: will my whole library, playlists and other content from my account still remain usable and accessible after one year, or my account will be deleted at some point due to its long inactivity?

Thanks.

Hi @nowits2late,

Yes, Spotify may delete your account if it is inactive. If you are inactive for over six months, your account might be deleted or suspended. But you don't have to subscribe to a Premium plan in order to "reactivate" your account - just log in to it and you'll be fine!
