Switching an account on premium duo plan

Switching an account on premium duo plan

I’m wanting to start a new account to reset my listening history, if my wife (the plan manager) removes my current account from the premium duo plan will it allow her to invite my new created account immediately or would she have to wait until 12 months after my account was removed to add a different one?

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

 

No worries, the 12-month rule only applies to switching between different Premium Duo or Premium Family plans with your same Spotify account.

 

If the plan manager for Premium Duo removes your current Spotify account from the plan, you’ll then be able to join the plan immediately using your newly created Spotify account.

 

Your wife can follow these steps to remove your current Spotify account from the plan and then invite your new account to it.
