Switching from Groove

Good afternoon. I am switching from Groove to Spotify in an account I just created yesterday and have never taken a trial from potify as I have used Groove for quite a while and had no need yet. I was only offered the 30 day trial and I am not sure what I should have done or what I need to do, I know it said it would be offered automatically but it is unclear to me why it would not offer 60 days to me.

Hey @hometownnerd,

 

If you’re a Groove Music Pass subscriber and you transfer your music to Spotify before December 31, 2017, you’ll automatically receive a 60-day free trial for Spotify Premium when you upgrade from Spotify Free.

 

If you don’t receive your 60-day free trial offer, first check if you’re eligible. If you are, contact the Spotify Support team and they’ll help.

Thank you a bunch, they have taken care of me! I know I have seen check if you are eligible, but do not remember seeing the contact support link before. I really appreciate it. 

If anyone else wants to find the link, since that was the real issue for me, as you migrate your music there are Ads that are running in the middle, the last one is the button for 60 days sign up, so scroll to it using the arrows in the Ad box. When I migrated the first time I saw it for maybe a second and by then the migration was done.Of course you cannot have signed up for a trial before that which was my other mistake, but they understood and corrected it for me.

Not NOT, where are my groove files?

Hey guys, Im new to the site, and also just switched from Groove.

 

I contacted customer support about the 60 days free, which you have to subscribe first before you get the days for free. Which is fine, but what I need to know is with the promotional offer £99 for the year, and as I switiched from Groove, do you still get 2 months free?  I did email them, they sent me a link to here 🙂

Getting the runaround between Groove and Spotify, can't or will NOT transfer files with Windows 8.1.  Why?  I've spent hours upon this already with no results, You'd think 2 companies could talk to one another, especially when Spotify will profit. No customer
