Switching to family plan and having to redownload playlists

Switching to family plan and having to redownload playlists

I just switched from a single to a family plan on Spotify and I have to redownload all the songs in my playlist. When I first got premium it didn’t even make me download them originally so this might have been a glitch and now its downloading. But on the single I was able to listen offline despite not noticing if songs were downloaded but I was recently offline and only a select few songs were available. Is this something that normally happens when changing plans?

Hi @Will567, and welcome to the Community!

When we switch to a Family plan, we keep all our playlists, saved music, and settings, but you may need to re-download your music.

For more information, please check out How to change Premium plans.
