Trouble cancelling subscription

Trouble cancelling subscription

I have premium Spotify, changed my Apple if and username and now can’t cancel my Spotify as when I log in using my new i.d it says I’m on a free Spotify but I am not as gettin charged £9.99 pm. Been trying to sort this for ages now and getting no where fast,can anybody help?

Unfortunately, if you have subscribed through Apple instead you will need to work with them to cancel the account. I have copied over Spotify's FAQ for this issue below. If you are actually subscribed through Spotify directly than the full cancellation process is found here.

Spotify is not able to help you cancel your subscription if you’re subscribed through another company (e.g. your broadband/mobile provider, or with iTunes), since they manage your subscription and payments. Please contact that company.

If you subscribed with iTunes, please see Apple's instructions for canceling.

If you’re unsure about who manages your subscription, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Click Subscription in the menu on the left. There you can see who manages your subscription.
  3. Contact that company to change any billing details or cancel.
