My Question or Issue

Hello I tried to susbcribe to premium through Paypals 3 month offer and I have verified my card and account yet when I go to pay with paypal it says "Please return to the merchant and choose another way to pay." I have no subscribed to Premium with this account before which is odd. I tried to subscribe to the 2 month trial and did both on an incognito tab and it still will not process, any help appreciated.

Has the PayPal account been used for Spotify in the past? Each payment method can only be used once to claim an introductory offer. 🙂

No the account has not been used before it is a new PayPal account.

I recommend double-checking if the country set in your PayPal account matches the one set in your Spotify account and vice versa.

Additionally, you can also try subscribing using another device and/or browser, preferably in incognito mode.

I have same error and used card but not paypall account. I have done this many times. Adding same card on different paypal accounts and buying premium free.
