Upgraded to Family then immeditely canclled back to Premium, will i still be charged?

I realised i am still in my 3 month free so no point in doing this until that expires you see.

Hey @MarkP75, welcome to the community!

 

If you change from the regular Premium subscription to the Premium for Family plan, any remaining time you had is converted to the Family plan.

 

Since this is a pro-ration to a bigger plan, you won't be charged right away, but your next billing date moves forward, and you'll be able to invite your family members immediately.

I think i may have 2 Spotify accounts active at the same time as i have paid 9.99 twice this month via different accounts although i only use one Spotify account, can you pls check for me.

 

My user names are Arcade82 and t7040qzixy1rr5ql6binrwp75 and my email is *snip*

 

Appreciate any help you can give.

If you have two different Spotify accounts, you can log in here, and head to Subscription to check if both accounts are on a Premium subscription.

 

If so, you can cancel the account you're not using, and close it if you'd like.

 

In case you don't have a Premium subscription on both accounts, but you were still charged twice, check if your payment method is being used by a friend or family member.

Thanks for your reply. No i still cant fathom it out. On my laptop i have this account



t7040qzixy1rr5ql6binrwp75 which also says Arcade82 but there is no user image associated with this account but yet all my playlists are on there. Then on my mobile my account looks correct with Arcade82 as the user name and with my correct user image....





Now the same playlists are on both so im really confused if they are the same account, can you pls check for me if Arcade82 and t7040qzixy1rr5ql6binrwp75 are the same?



I followed your instructions and tried to log in and reset the password for t7040qzixy1rr5ql6binrwp75 but when i said forgot password it said it emailed me but i have checked all my emails and got nothing. Im thinking i many have set up one of the accounts via Facebook to save time on registration and i think Facebook gives you an email address which ive no idea what it is.



Any how im sorry this is a bit long winded but would appreciate your help, i certainly need to cancel one of my subscriotons but im worried about losing my Arcade82 one (with the user image above) and all my playlists, im an artist aswell you see so my artist page is associated with Arcade82 - i think!



Appreciate ay help you can give so i can cancel the correct 2nd account.

In this case, since you couldn't log in to check if both accounts are set as Premium, it'd be best to contact our Support team.

 

They'll be able to check both accounts backstage and look for duplicate payments. You can reach out to the right team here, and they'll get back to you as soon as possible.
