Using Spotify premium outside the U.K.

I'm just wondering, can a family member who is outside the U.K (Canada) would be able to use my Spotify premium account?

Yes, all members from the Premium for Family plan are able to enjoy the Premium features all over the world, as long as it's something temporary.

Well, the thing is -- if for some reason the account's Administrator change the payment method while one of the members is overseas, he will probably be removed.

Ah I see thanks 🙂 do I have to subscribe for a family subscription for them to use it? Or would it be fine if it's only a premium account? Which I currently have.

I'm not sure if I fully understand the situation. So let me explain the possible scenarios:

Today you have a regular Premium account. You want someone from your family to have access to it, logging in using your credentials. If that's the case, it's fine. It will work.

If you upgrade your account to Premium for Family, you'll only be able to invite the ones currently living in the same address as you - not the one who's in Canada. He should be in the same country as you in order to join the plan, and then travel to another country.
