I have a free subscription but received an email that my payment method wasn't working for the premium and I needed to update it by clicking a link. Note - I don't have a premium account and wanted to warn everyone to beware right before the holiday!

I appreciate you reaching out about this & bringing this to my attention. You can use these guidelines to detect whether a Spotify email is legit or not. If you haven’t deleted the email, you may report the email by forwarding it to spoof@spotify.com and then you may delete the email.
