Why I receive communication in German?

My Question or Issue

 I apologize in advance if it's not the right place to ask this question.

I have selected English as my language for Spotify, but when I receive news from Spotify by email they are written in German. A language I cannot speak at all. Any idea?

I think I have understood the reason.
I'm in Switzerland, so they send me mails in the languages of the country (
at least according to them) that is in German and in French. Luckily I can
speak French, so I manage.

Hi again one last thing,

If you want it translated to English and you use Google Chrome, you can translate the email just folllow the following steps:

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. Go to a web page written in another language.
3. At the top, click Translate.
4. Chrome will translate the web page this one time.
