Why can’t I activate my gift card with premium code?

I bought a 3 month Spotify gift card for my daughter and when we type in the premium code, it says the code is incorrect or invalid.  What can we do to activate it?

In this case, I recommend first trying the suggested steps in this support article (under Spotify gift card not working?), to see if they make a difference.

If you’ve tried these steps and you still can’t redeem the code on the gift card, I would recommend getting in touch with Customer Support here; they can take a look and help you to check the code more thoroughly.
