It's also worth trying with a different network and a different device. You can also check this page for further troubleshooting advice. If this fails as well, it'd be best to contact the issuer of your credit cards for further info.

me too, i used a different card, did the incognito thing, and still nothing. i talked to one of the agents and they said i should try again in 24 hours. did that and still the same issue. i feel like the problem is with spotify

Can you let us know what country you're currently in, what country is set on your Spotify account and what Premium subscription you're going for?

I am having same issue I tried signing up like a year ago with different cards and email wouldn’t let me today I first tried with pay pal and it tried saying my password was wrong which made absolutely no sense. Bc I can sign on and it said it wouldn’t except Mastercard at 0$ fee?!

In your situation, I'd first check with the bank if your card can be used for recurring subscriptions 🙂
In some cases only one-time payments are enabled.

Sorry to hear about this. Could it be possible that your account is already subscribed to a plan? We would advise to check in your Account Overview page to see the status of your subscriptions. As another way to troubleshoot try to open up the subscription page through an incognito browser.

yep not working for me either. tried my card on my laptop and my phone, on different networks and even states. just doesn’t work. even got a new card and that new one doesn’t work either. terrible coding i’m guessing

Same thing happening to me I’m from Turkey I tried to pay with multiple cards on different devices but it just give an error that says charging couldnt be made, please try again etc. My account region is also from Turkey and the cards I use are perfectly fine and I’ve waited for three days and it still keeps goşng on. I don’t wanna miss out the sale.
I am trying to get spotify premium buy my account wont let me pay £11.99 monthly one as im getting tired with ads. how can i get my visa to pay as it saying the payment failed while i got money in the acc it just wont work. X -d
Tried to subscribe to Premium, but paying with Paypal fails every time. Tried at least six times: logging off from everywhere, cancelling my account and creating a new one with different email, but all instances failed. However the 0.01 euro test payment goes thru successfully and the payment stays active in Paypal, but I still have the free subscription with ads, not Premium. Occasionally when logging in with another device the subscription shows Premium, but I still hear ads. Paypal itself works fine: I am using it frequently in other webshops, so the issue must be on the Spotify system. Paying directly with credit card is not an option, I want to use PayPal for all my net services, and if that fails, I will not subscribe.
