For some reason I was charged the Duo plan when I always pay for the student one. 

I tried navigating the help section of the site but there's not a lot I can do there. There's not a lot of information on how to contact spotify directly

Could you let me know which Spotify plan you're on? You can check this here, and send me a screenshot of what you're seeing there - make sure to hide sensitive information when posting to the Community. 

 

Also, when you check this charge on your bank statements - does it show as pending or has it been posted to your account?
