spotify payment keeps saying failed and next billing date shows yesterday

i cannot pay for spotify as payment fails appears and also, the “you will be billed next on 7th april, 2024” keeps showing up. 7th april was yesterday. i updated spotify and tried to pay from my laptop too but the issue isnt get solved

Please make sure that your bank allows recurring subscriptions, and that it is registered in the same country as your Spotify account. If that's the case, then I'd recommend following all of the steps provided on this support page.

i did check everything that the support page said and it still shows yesterday as my billing date. i don’t know whats up with spotify. could you please help?

Thanks for the reply! Could you try subscribing via the Premium page instead of from the Account Page? If you're still unable to process any payment, I'd recommend reaching out to your payment provider for further assistance.

In relation to the earlier billing date that you're seeing can you send me a screenshot of what you're seeing exactly? Please make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the community.
