why are there ads on my ad free spotify

I have paid for Duo, my wife's account is fine, mine is on Free.  Recently, I made a mistake and ended up with two paid subscriptions.  After a couple of long chat sessions I got a credit for one account and kept the Duo account.  However, my Spotify account did not include my playlists.  When I logged out of Spotify and back in as instructed in troubleshooting, the playlists appeared but I was on Spotify Free.

Based on what you mentioned, it's possible that you're logged into a different account. To check if you have more than one account on Spotify, follow these specific steps. If you find other account(s), make sure to check if your missing playlists are on one of them. If so, you can transfer your content from that account to the one with Duo and close the other(s) to avoid any mix-ups in the future.
