Can't hear anything in Jam session

i cannot hear anything whenever i join my friends spotify jam, why is that?

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community! We moved your post to a separate thread as the issue you're experiencing is different from the other thread's topic. 

Just to confirm, does this happen across devices or only on a specific one? We'd also like to know if this has always happened or if it has started happening after a specific event such as an update. 

On another note, does this always happen or only occasionally? Also, have you noticed if it occurs when there are multiple people in the Jam session or does it occur when there are only 2 users in the session as well?
