Can’t see which playlists a song is already in (Android)

I can no longer see which playlists a song is already added to.

Previously, when tapping “Add to playlist”, Spotify showed check marks next to the playlists that already contained the selected song. Now, all playlists are shown without any indication of whether the song is already in them.

Details:

  • Device: Android (Pixel).

  • App version: 9.0.96.826.

  • Plan: Premium Family.
  • Country: Sweden.

Thanks for help or feedback!

Hi, @funkysverk,

Do you use playlist folders? If so, we're currently investigating an issue with playlists contained in folders not showing in the "Saved in" section of the "Add to playlist" menu in this other thread, feel free to check it out.

In case what you're experiencing seems different, I'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app - this will get rid of any potentially corrupted cache. Should the issue persist, please share a screenshot / short screen recording which captures how things look on your end so we can investigate further. Just make sure no sensitive info (such as your username, email, etc.) is shown.

Cheers 🤘
