Clicking "Add to Liked Songs" not working in desktop App (Windows)

My Question or Issue

Clicking the "add to liked songs" icon (circle with plus) does not work consistently. I have to go to the web player to add a liked song.

It will work with one song then later not work at all, even restarting the app has no effect.  I can do it via the web app however w/o issue.

Are you seeing any error on screen when it fails to add the song to your liked songs? Feel free to attach a screenshot or screen recording of the issue.

I'd recommend the following steps:

1. Open the app settings, scroll down, and switch hardware acceleration. Restart the app and check.
2. Back to the app settings, clear the cache from the storage settings. See if that helps.
3. Switch between Wi-Fi and Mobile Data or vice versa.
4. Perform a clean-install of the Spotify app using this guide.
