New to Spotify. I've spent hours moving my "favorites" on Google Play Music to my Liked Songs on Spotify. Is there a way to share my Liked Songs or move them to a Playlist?
Plan: Premium
Country: USA
Device: iPhone 11 Pro Max
Solved! Go to Solution.
Yes - but its not a proper playlist. For example, it cant be synced to a Garmin watch.
Although the Ctrl + A does not work, but I got a workaround to this problem.
1) Install Spotify app on ur PC
2) Create a new playlist to store the liked songs to
3) Go to your liked songs playlist
4) Click on the first song in the playlist
5) Scroll down to the bottom of the playlist
6) HOLD SHIFT KEY and then press on the last song (this selects all the songs that are present in the library)
7) Move the selected songs by holding your click on the list of the songs and move it onto the new playlist that you just created and then release the click.
Done!
Just a heads up to anyone who is googling this and still hasn't found a workable solution to moving songs from your Liked Songs to a Playlist, using the BROWSER (some of us work in places that don't allow installation of programs). If you CTRL+Click a song, then scroll down a bit and CTRL+SHIFT+Click a song further down (I wouldn't do more than 100 at a time, since Spotify doesn't seem to use any of its profits for back-end infrastructure), it'll highlight a chunk of songs and you can right click them and move them to playlists. Of course, you still can't do basic sorting functions like media players have had for over 20 years, but you can use sites like sortify to do what spotify can't seem to figure out.
You can click the first song in the playlist btw and scroll all the way down and hold shift and click the last song.
Musconvtool has great function to transfer your liked songs into playlist or to transfer into Spotify
i cant do it i just dont know how it wont let me drag and drop but i can 1 song at a time
Is there any way to do this on PS or Mobile?
This really seems like Spotify been coy and wanting to trap users. Why not make it easy to export anything you want in terms of playlists?
Thank you for any help you can give.
You can just select a song, hold shift and arrow key down, it may skip a a few songs if you hold the button but u can right click after you are down and add to a new playlist
what if you are on chormebook?
But the whole point of this post is that a user shouldn't have to do that. I currently cannot sync my Like songs to my garmin without creating and maintaining a separate mirror playlist. That's just silly. Why doesn't Liked songs behave just like a playlist?
You can just use ctrl + shift and the arrows to select all liked songs
thanks! or i might need to take years to move my 900 songs!
