Delete multiple folders at once?

My Question or Issue

Is it possible to select and delete a lot of new folders at once? My cat layed on my keyboard and created many thousands of folders.... ! Deleting them 1 by 1 is driving me crazy 😵‍💫

Unfortunately it's not possible to select multiple folders at once to clear them out. Perhaps a possible workaround would be to put as many folders as possible into another folder and then delete the parent folder to clear them all at once. This might be quicker than deleting them one at a time.
