Delete shared playlist, but not for others

I created a playlist and shared it with others. Now, I want to delete this playlist, since I’m not using it anymore. However, my friends who are also in the playlist, want to keep it. How can I make them the administrator or make sure that it doesn’t get deleted for them when I delete it in my library?

I'm assuming the playlist you're referring to is collaborative: in that case if you're the creator and decide to delete it, the playlist will become unavailable for the other users as well. It's not currently possible to transfer the ownership of a playlist. There's an idea about implementing such feature here that's still open for voting, so feel free to check it out and show your support.

In the meantime, a workaround would be to ask one of your friends to copy the contents of the playlist into a new one and invite the rest to it. After that you can safely delete the one you created without worrying that the tracks will be removed.
