Desktop Player - Cannot sort albums in my library by Recently Added

My Question or Issue

When using the Spotify desktop player if I go to Albums in my Library and change the sorted by to 'Recently Added' the player closes instantly with no errors.

Have tried to close Spotify manually but the issue is still apparent.
